"What truly sets our new IgG ELISA kits apart is their unprecedented ability to differentiate between IgG antibodies that have been elicited by contact with different flaviviruses. This feature is particularly crucial when performing seroprevalence studies in regions where several flaviviruses co-circulate and/or flavivirus vaccine regimens have been implemented." - Dr. Christina Deschermeier (Founder and CSO, Panadea Diagnostics GmbH)
Following on from the unique principles behind the high performance of our Panadea ZIKV (ED3) IgG SE ELISA Kit, the newly released flavivirus NS1 based IgG SE ELISA kits also employ our powerful proprietary Specificity Enhancer technology. With this, a special mixture, formulated individually for each kit, is added to the assay reaction to dramatically reduce cross-reactive interference caused by IgG against non-target flaviviruses.
The result?
Highly specific detection of anti-flavivirus IgG, regardless of sample background, tuned for applications in regions with the highest known flavivirus co-circulation.
Alongside the IgG kits, we are also releasing our new Panadea DENV (NS1) IgM ELISA Kit. This allows for detection of IgM antibodies against DENV and complements our existing Panadea ZIKV (NS1) IgM ELISA Kit for discriminatory applications. These kits have consistently demonstrated excellent performance, on samples from a wide variety of backgrounds, providing accurate results that researchers can rely on. The detection of IgM with these kits enables the identification of recent exposures to the viruses, lending a crucial chronological context to surveillance and research results.
"We are excited to see the impact these advanced tools will have on flavivirus research and surveillance and are committed to supporting scientists in their efforts to understand and combat these important pathogens." - Dr. Yang Liu (Founder and CEO, Panadea Diagnostics GmbH)
Please note that these ELISA kits are intended for Research Use Only (RUO). They have not been evaluated for clinical use.
